SAMAAP Elections

On October 31, 2020, SAMAAP will hold elections to renew its board of directors.  All members will be eligible to vote providing they update their membership payments by October 2020. Voting rights for new members will only be applicable to  members who register before or no later than June 30, 2020.

Life Time members

Life time members, who are in the categories of Promoter and Benefactor, are not required to make additional payments for membership, unless they choose to do so.


Elections Committee:

The following members will constitute the Elections Committee: Rafael McClean, Patricia McKenzie, Canute Cockburn, and Earl Watson.  All SAMAAP members registered up to June 30, 2020, will be eligible to vote, provided they are up-to-date in the membership payments.

From the month of July up to August 18, 2020, members can make nominations for the 11 positions on the Board of Directors (President, Vice President, Treasurer, Recording Secretary, Correspondence and Archival Secretary, Public Relations Secretary, Admissions Secretary, Secretary of Social Development and Welfare, Secretary of International Affairs, Law and Order Officer, Member-at-Large).
